About the role
Educational Assistant Location: Eastview Middle School 30 hours weekly
Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
Temporary position replacing a leave of absence until October 21, 2025m with possibility of extension.
The successful applicant will provide support to students in middle school.
Desirable Qualifications And Attributes
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset
- Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
- Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required
