This position is currently posted internally to CUPE e mployees fo r 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. January 9 th , 2026 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. Prairie Land School Division is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated part-time Educational Assistant to join our team. This 0.5 FTE position is based at Veteran School and will commence on January 5, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 15 hours that aligns with the Kindergarten timetable.
In this role, you will provide support to the classroom teacher by assisting a Kindergarten student with academic, behavioral, and social needs, while also contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to interact with students and staff in a meaningful and professional manner, and a commitment to presenting themselves as an organized and professional representative of the school, whether in person, by phone, or through written correspondence. Previous experience in a fast-paced, collaborative setting is considered an asset.
