Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Uphold high standards of food handling, hygiene, and safety throughout all tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering quality dishes to guests
