About The Role Are you passionate about bringing the future of food to life? Do you thrive on building strong partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving growth across Canada’s most exciting foodservice channels?

We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager - Foodservice to join our growing team — someone who’s ready to sell industry-leading, respected, and innovative brands that are transforming how restaurants, institutions, industrial, and consumers experience food.

What You’ll Do In this high-impact role, you’ll take the lead on expanding our presence across the foodservice industry — from restaurants and education institutions to healthcare, hospitality, and multi-unit chain operators (both Limited and Full Service).

  • Drive new business through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and relationship-building with key decision-makers in the foodservice space.
  • Expand distribution and visibility by partnering with Broadline and Specialty Distributors, Independent Operators, and GPOs.
  • Collaborate on menu innovation, working with chefs, culinary, and purchasing teams to showcase our products’ value, taste, and versatility.
  • Leverage and grow distributor partnerships through effective programs, promotions, and joint business planning.
  • Lead and inspire broker networks to execute sales strategies and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our trusted portfolio of organic, plant-based, and innovative food brands.
  • Work cross-functionally with global sourcing and marketing teams to introduce exciting new products to the Canadian market.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the food industry — ideally selling to large multi-unit commercial chain operators (Limited Service & Full Service), distributors, Industrial and GPOs.
  • Proven ability to open doors, close deals, and build long-term customer loyalty.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and business development skills.
  • Passion for food innovation, sustainability, and helping customers elevate their menus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (~25%).
  • French language skills are an asset, but not required.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a global organization that’s redefining the future of food — with access to international expertise, innovation, and resources.
  • Represent a portfolio of beloved, high-growth brands trusted by chefs, operators, and consumers worldwide.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, supportive, and entrepreneurial environment where your ideas matter.
  • Enjoy hybrid flexibility with the ability to work remotely and connect in person at our Toronto Head Office.
