About the role

Job Summary

The Sport Programs Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of sport programs and services for the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate a variety of sport programs and services.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the needs of participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote sport programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or a related area.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a post-secondary environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends in sport and recreation.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.

  • This is a term position with a duration of 12 months.
