About the Role
The Junior Sales Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service across an assigned GTA territory. This role works closely with retail partners, maintains strong in-store execution, and helps drive sales performance across key accounts. The ideal candidate has previous sales experience and an interest in the natural health, grocery, or nutritional supplements industry.
Key Responsibilities · Service and support an assigned territory through regular account visits, maintaining positive relationships with retail partners, buyers, and store teams. · Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and assist in developing new business within the territory. · Support achievement of sales targets by territory, brand, and account. · Assist with securing new item listings, promotional placements, and product visibility opportunities. · Support planogram execution, product refreshes, cross-merchandising, and POP materials to enhance brand presence. · Conduct store audits, inventory checks, and monitor product performance to identify opportunities and gaps. · Ensure accounts are stocked with product literature and replace defective, expired, or discontinued items as needed. · Educate buyers and store staff on products, promotions, and brand initiatives. · Track and report on sales activities, promotions, and store execution. · Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery, inventory, credit, and service-related issues. · Maintain accurate customer records and provide territory updates, market insights, and competitive information. · Participate in regional trade shows, sales meetings, product demonstrations, and customer events as required.
Education and Experience · 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods, natural health products, grocery, or related industries. · Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
Required Qualifications · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Previous sales experience with a passion for customer service and relationship building. · Interest or familiarity with the natural health, wellness, grocery, or nutritional supplements industry. · Highly organized with strong time-management skills. · Positive, energetic attitude with initiative and creative problem-solving abilities. · Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. · Customer-focused with a consultative approach to selling. Additional Requirements · Ability to attend regional trade shows, sales meetings, and customer events as required (some travel may be necessary). · Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
