Job Summary Interpro currently seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team at our Regina, SK location! As a Sales Representative, you will perform all facets of Inside Sales duties and act as support for Outside Sales by developing new leads and building relationships with customers to enable Interpro to secure the greatest volume of profitable sales. You are responsible for order solicitation, pricing and quotations, order write-up, expediting, claims processing, and general telephone work as well as assuming responsibility for accounts and projects. You will be expected to learn the functions of and work with other departments. Successful Sales Representatives will keep up-to-date on competitor activity within the industry, (e.g., pricing, product developments, policies, company changes, and report all significant information to Sales Management and Outside Sales Representatives).

- Serve as primary point of contact for flat products accounts
- Prepare and process customer inquiries, quotations and sales order confirmations
- Respond to customer inquiries on pricing, availability, lead times and product specifications
- Report on current industry activities, customer news items, competitor activities, general industry conditions, and possible marketing opportunities
- Coordinate with multiple levels of Operations including Production Planning, Technical Services, Credit and Logistics
- Assist with the development of customer bids, new product development, and optimization of existing product offerings
- Ensure the ongoing overall accuracy of essential forecasting models and reports
- Monitor sales, shipments, production forecasts
- Assist with special projects or assignments as requested
Education And Experience
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, marketing or related field or commensurate experience
- 3 to 5 years of industrial or manufacturing sales and customer service expertise, preferably metals related
Knowledge, Skills And Competencies
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with opposing opinions and effect compromise
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
- A well-organized self-starter, capable of effectively budgeting time to meet priorities
- Time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality
- Must be able to travel on occasion, as required
