We are seeking a Program Manager – Environmental / Radiological Services t o oversee key environmental and radiological projects and support the continued growth of this specialized business area in Canada. Based out of Port Hope, Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand ECC’s Environmental Remediation Services business across Canada, including recruitment, team development, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage large-scale environmental and radiological remediation projects, ensuring objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
- Provide technical direction, project leadership, and client relationship management throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead or support business development and proposal preparation efforts to secure new contracts and partnerships.
- Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and profitability to meet ECC goals.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and process improvements to optimize project delivery.
- Supervise and mentor project teams in accordance with ECC policies and applicable legislation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience:
- Demonstrated experience managing radiological and environmental projects for government or industrial clients (e.g., PSPC, DND, DCC, AECL, CNL and other Canadian federal/provincial agencies).
- 10+ years of successful project management experience overseeing cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance.
- Experience in mine reclamation/remediation
- Proven ability to deliver complex environmental remediation programs under federal or provincial frameworks.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and familiarity with cost tracking systems (e.g., CostPoint, EZ TRAC) considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically (typically less than 50%).
ECC targeted base salary range for the area is $180,000 CAD to $215,000 CAD on an annual basis. Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location. Benefits Offered – full-time positions *
