The Legal department plays an important role in the development of President’s Choice Financial innovative operations and services. Supporting business groups on legal, risk and strategic issues, the Legal department is involved in a wide range of leading-edge matters. We are now seeking an intelligent, passionate, and enthusiastic law student to provide project and commercial contracting support to various lines of business within President’s Choice Financial.

Under the mentorship of senior President’s Choice Financial lawyers, the law student will have exposure to a number of practice areas including regulated financial services, consumer protection, commercial contracts, procurement, technology, marketing and advertising, privacy, and corporate transactions.

The ideal law student for this role will have a strong desire to work in these areas in a fast-paced environment, requiring the application of legal principles in a business-friendly manner.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited law school
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong drafting skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Solution-oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Business experience/education would be asset
• Bilingual skills would be an asset
