1. POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager Government Relations and Project Management, the incumbent of this role will be working with the teams across Everllence across the Product Centers and internally. The incumbent will be responsible in overseeing the administration of all commercial, schedule, budget, and task execution for assigned contracts and projects including project reporting, project key performance indicators (KPI) measurement and maintenance, forecasting, change orders, and analysis of project related data. The incumbent will also be responsible for customer relations and the growth of the contracts and projects.

The Project Manager must work well within a team environment and the position includes but is not limited to these responsibilities:

1. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage performance, analyze, evaluate and forecast based on progress and performance,

Review the Contract administration on a monthly basis,

Notify Manager of Government Relations and Project Management of any project risk, deviations or expected deviations from scope, schedule, budget, and any issue encountered that might impact the customer’s operations or affect EVERLLENCE resources;

Update and evaluate accuracy of project forecasts with the assistance of the Contract Administrator especially costs incurred,

Oversee the coordination of project tasks of EVERLLENCE Canada shops, Field Services, and Engineering as they relate to the project,

Configuration management along with life cycle management and obsolescence management of the customer’s products,

Manage retrofits and upgrades to the customer’s equipment,

Coordinate project invoicing and payments in alignment with the Contract Administrator,

Manage the procurement process including coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors,

Ensure compliance of safety, quality, and environmental regulations,

Act as the main technical and commercial liaison with the customer, and ensure customer expectations are aligned and executed in accordance with the contract stipulations,

Coordinate with the customer all activities including planned and unplanned maintenance along with mutually agreed scheduling of activities,

Manage internal critical project communications.

1. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Post-secondary education in Marine Engineering, Engineering, Business or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience,

5-7 years of experience in a project management function or equivalent contract management experience

Contract knowledge is required,

PMP designation is an asset,

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills,

Solid understanding of Cost and scheduling concepts and tools,

Proven technical knowledge as it pertains to medium speed marine 4-stroke diesel,

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

Ability to utilize sound professional, commercial and technical judgement,

Proficiency in Microsoft software tools, and

Team player and both customer and Everllence advocate.
