• Completing atmospheric testing, plant sweeps, and first passes in vessels, tanks, and berms

• Assisting with hazard assessments, job auditing, and permitting compliances

• Develop and communicate rescue task and specific rescue plans

• Rig in towers, vessels, and other working at heights tasks with ropes and other rescue equipment

• Monitor work site, coach, and mentor safety watch

• Manage, maintain, and inspect safety rescue equipment

• Ensure contractors follow permit conditions and best practices

• Respond to on site emergencies

• Other duties as assigned

• Clean Class 5 Driver’s License

• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (or equivalent)

• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

• H2S Alive

• High angle rope rescue certification (through NFPA, or an equivalent standard)

• Confined space rescue training (through NFPA or other recognized agency)

• Fall protection experience an asset

• Must be able to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift

• Proven track record of exceptional customer service

• Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job

• Possess strong written, organizational, and communication skills

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Must be computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.

• Proof of high angle & confined space rescue practice log
