We are currently recruiting for the role of Civil Engineering Technologist for our Red Deer office

Your Contribution:

Your main responsibilities

  • Complete field surveys utilizing RTK GPS equipment. Duties may include topographic survey, bathymetric survey, ROV survey, drone surveys, construction layout surveys, and quantity surveys.

  • Design of Municipal, Transportation, and Water Resource Projects using Civil 3D.

  • Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Complete site inspection and resident engineering duties throughout the construction phase of projects. Responsibilities may include residenting, inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and ensuring work is in accordance with Drawings and Specifications.

Your Profile:

What makes you unique

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
  • Proficiency with GPS survey technology.
  • Previous field work considered an asset.
  • Being registered or being eligible for registration with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work in a team environment.
  • Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
