Rolling Mill Operator – Calgary
Company Overview: PTW is a trusted industrial and commercial contractor in Calgary, specializing in high-quality welding and fabrication.
Role Summary: We are hiring a Rolling Mill Operator to help with day-to-day material rolling and movement, keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery
- Prepare, set up, and operate metalworking machinery or equipment.
- Operate machinery or equipment to cut, bend, or crease metal parts.
- Inspect products for conformity to shape, size, or other standards.
- Investigate the cause of problems and make minor repairs.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and replace defective parts as needs
- Setting up manufacturing equipment
- Read and/or follow verbal instructions.
- Completes daily housekeeping in assigned area.
- Completes daily inspections of machinery
- Ensures quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing product.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Possesses operational knowledge of rolling mill machines
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
