Sales Development Co-op (Fall 2025 Term)

The Sales Development Co-op
will support our sales team in generating new business and maintaining existing relationships. As a Business Development Co-op, you will work closely with our sales team to support their efforts in achieving company goals. This role is hybrid between offices and field sales, with the expectation of four days per week (Must be available on weekends if required) in the field (GTA and surrounding area) and one day in office (Toronto/Mississauga)

- Revenue ($ and % growth)
- New Points of distribution
- Customers visited
Statement of Work & Responsibilities:
Sales and lead generation
- Assist with lead generation and qualify potential customers for the sales pipeline (using HubSpot CRM).
- Follow up with leads and schedule meetings or calls.
- Accompany sales team on customer visits and support sales presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information in the CRM system (HubSpot).
- Drop off or coordinate samples at prospective customers
Marketing and trade materials
- Support with merchandising in stores
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and other sales materials.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sampling to introduce new products to customers.
- Support sales and marketing events, including trade shows and food festivals.
- Assist in marketing activations in on-premise locations, including POS, digital displays, and menu boards.
Data and analytics
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and analyze market trends.
- Develop systems and tools to enhance efficiencies and leverage technology (AI) for sales growth.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Enrolment in a relevant undergraduate program (e.g, Marketing, Business, Economics)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Critical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a Vehicle
