About the role

Are you ready to lead a team to help create a community where everyone feels valued and included?

Why KACL?

Since 1960, KACL has promoted inclusion and social justice in our community. We are a not-for-profit, charitable organization made up of some of the most compassionate, caring, and hardworking people you’ll ever meet.

We are the third largest employer in Kenora, and our goal is to be the employer of choice by focusing on safety, courtesy, teamwork, and inclusion.

At the KACL Arts Hub, we understand that a sense of belonging is an intrinsic part of humanity, and that gifts are a powerful tool in cultivating belonging. As a supervisor you will adopt an asset-based approach to support and develop your team, helping them align with and deliver KACL’s mission, vision and values. Your leadership, guided by your unique gifts and abilities, will help to create a resilient, connected community where people feel they truly belong and are empowered to contribute their best.

You Are:

  • A Communicator: You can capture attention and inspire trust when you speak. Your clarity, empathy and openness to diverse perspectives enable you to have meaningful, compassionate conversations about difficult topics.
  • A Motivator: By fostering a positive and productive work environment you inspire others to feel strong and responsible, able to perform at their best.
  • Adaptable: Your agility in actions and flexibility in thinking enable you to navigate changes effectively, ensuring your team remains resilient and responsive to evolving challenges.
  • A Leader: Your team members rely on you to discern what truly matters. Your trusted leadership allows you to inspire and motivate them to take action on key priorities.

You Will:

  • Work closely with your manager to ensure service excellence and a rewarding employment experience.
  • Grow and develop your team and support them to discover and utilize their gifts.
  • Balance your time with your team, the people that we support, and future planning for the program.
  • Work towards belonging for all by fostering inclusion, ensuring everyone feels valued, recognized, and able to contribute.

You’ll Love:

  • Being part of a progressive organization that makes a real difference in our community.
  • A positive, fun, professional team that needs and values your gifts and talents.
  • Great medical, dental, vision, and disability coverage, and our pension plan.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth, and exploration of your gifts.

KACL is committed to employment equity and diversity and welcomes qualified applicants from the full range of identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Accommodations are available for all parts of the recruitment and selection process.

Vacancies: We are looking to fill one (1) full-time position.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by November 3, 2025.
