The position has no direct reports but serves as a key technical and operational resource within the accounting function.

Depending on the scope of work, duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.

• Perform detailed balance sheet and key account reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully supported and reconciling items are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

• Prepare and maintain supporting working papers for financial reporting, ensuring documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready.

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Assist the Controller in preparing financial statements and related schedules.

• Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Support the preparation of audit schedules and provide documentation required for external audits and reviews.

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures.

• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial transactions are coded and recorded appropriately.

• Support the integrity of the ERP and accounting systems through proper data entry, reconciliation, and issue identification.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reconciliation efficiency, and financial data reliability.

• Assist with regulatory filings, tax support schedules, and other compliance requirements as required.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or comparable field
• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
• Minimum 2 years’ post-designation experience in a progressively challenging Finance Professional role
