Agriculture Student - Summer 2026

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting both sales and operations, providing a variety of work throughout the summer. This could include acting as a liaison between the customers, visiting growers, and supporting production. This is a summer position that is ideal for a student studying agriculture. The position starts in April and finishes the end of August.

Hourly Rate : $19.50 - $21.70/hourly

  • Assist office admin with day to day duties and administrative responsibilities

  • Assisting with deliveries of agricultural products, and field work such as soil sampling, crop scouting if needed

  • Supporting sales staff

  • Support production including assisting with customer orders

  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers in the farming community

  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner

  • General maintenance such as: painting, cutting grass, washing equipment

  • Check spread patterns on spreaders

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Currently attending post secondary education in plant science, agriculture, agri-business or similar field of education

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • A keen interest in agriculture

  • A strong focus on customer service

  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies

  • Ability and willingness to work in office, plant and outdoor environments
