Job Summary
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and systems through rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and company policies.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality risks.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira) and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (C#.Net, Java, Python, etc.).
