About the role

Spare Cafeteria Worker   Annapolis County, Kings County, Hants County   Hours of work: As needed basis Rate of pay as per CUPE Collective Agreement ($20.60)        Under the direction of the Principal and School Food Facilitator, the successful candidate for this position will be required to perform a wide variety of cafeteria duties. Qualifications and Abilities:        

The successful candidate must be physically able to perform duties. Possess the knowledge experience in food preparation and menu preparation. Must be organized and have clean work habits. Must be able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere. Safe Food Handling Course considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

Cooking, baking and preparation of food. Selling canteen items at recess and noon. Kitchen duties (stocking shelves, cleaning dishes, etc) Support school recycling program, keeping daily accounts and inventory control and cashier, as required.
