We are looking for a Coastal Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects. Together with customers, partners, and colleagues, we enable sustainable growth where people and societies grow and flourish. We do that by co-creating sustainable and beautiful solutions that improve the quality of life for people today and many generations ahead.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop coastal numerical models- including wave, hydrodynamic, sediment transport, mooring analysis and water quality – to provide critical data and analysis that informs design and optimization of coastal structures
- Perform coastal structures analysis, design, and evaluation and be responsible for the preparation of calculations, drawings, work plans, schedules, and budgets
- Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications, under applicable design requirements along with engineering reports and other technical documents
- Liaise with other professionals, clients, and third parties as needed
- Work on a diverse range of projects around the globe.

On top of that, you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of consulting coastal work experience in coastal engineering, with focus on numerical modelling in North America.
- Be a registered as Engineering in Training in home province have or ability to obtain registrations within 6 months of employment
- Have understanding in industry-standard modelling software (e.g., Delft3D, MIKE21, SMS, or similar)
- Experienced in using Python for programming and QGIS for geospatial analysis to support the development, automation, and validation of engineering calculations and data workflows.
