Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)
About The Role
Your clinical experience is more valuable than you know — especially to AI.
We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI systems designed for healthcare settings. You'll apply your real-world nursing knowledge to assess how well AI understands clinical workflows, EHR documentation, and health informatics concepts — and help make it better.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside some of the world's leading AI research teams.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Evaluate AI-generated clinical content and informatics outputs for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability Review how AI represents nursing workflows, EHR interactions, and clinical documentation practices Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe assumptions in AI responses related to patient care and health IT Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI systems better reflect frontline nursing realities Assess AI reasoning around topics like care coordination, data quality, and system usability Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in clinical informatics or health IT Hands-on experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms Strong ability to analyze clinical workflows and documentation practices Comfortable evaluating written content for accuracy and clinical soundness Detail-oriented with clear written communication skills No prior AI experience required — your nursing expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
Experience in data annotation, data quality review, or clinical evaluation systems Background in nursing education, quality improvement, or health informatics leadership Familiarity with clinical decision support tools or informatics governance
