Quality Assurance Specialist (24 month Contract)

What to expect: We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist for Nestle based at our North York location reporting into the Quality Compliance Manager. As a member of the quality team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the quality functions as per current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policy. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life of a Quality Assurance Specialist:
- Consumer complaint and product information: Manage and maintain the overall program including review, investigations and follow up actions and monthly KPI reporting
- Stability program: Maintain program including review, set up and investigation and actions
- New product launches program: Support QA tasks specifications, stability set up and review, investigations, deviations, supplier communication, product disposition etc
- Company Site Licnece activities: Support relating to applications and supplier communications
- Support QA function including specification review, product review for deposition, Product recall etc.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant Science degree
- Experience with facilitation of Quality system programs such as: corrective action programs, deviations, audits and stability
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Knowledge of GMP/cGMP
- 3-5 years industry quality experience
Preferred Skills
- Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and timelines and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others in a collaborative and positive manner
- Ability to handle work volumes requiring a high degree of accuracy and organization
- Strong organizational skills
