About the role
The Area Manager provides supervision and leadership to Program Managers, working in collaboration with the District Leadership Team to provide excellence in service delivery, and employees/volunteer management in assigned area. The Area Manager will work within approved strategic plans, and established policies and procedures to guide and supervise Program Managers in all matters of program. The Area Manager will share critical information and reports with the district team.
The Area Manager embraces the Christian Faith Foundation of the organization; ensures the Christian ethos and the Values, Vision and Mission permeate their job responsibilities; and personally commits to the expectations as outlined in the Statement of Faith.
Experience**:**3 years experience in program management role,1 year on the job
Education: College degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in General Arts, Social
Work, or Business Administration
**Skills and Core Competencies:**Competent and current in PCS, SMWTs, and recruitment technical skills, Conflict resolution and crisis management skills, Advocating for Others,Creative Problem Solving & Decision Making,Developing Others, Fostering Independence in Others,Holding People Accountable, Leading Others, Managing Change, Relationship/Network Building, Resource Management, Strategic Thinking
