POSITION OVERVIEW
The
Peopl
e
and Culture Coordinator
acts as
a key
facilitator for shaping
the employee
experience and fostering a positive workplace culture
.
The People and Culture coordinator is also
responsible for performing
administrative
tasks related to human resources in all functional areas including, but not limited to
talent acquisition, onboarding, talent management, training
and development,
performance management, emplo
yee
relat
ions
and
total
rewards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Assist
in the planning, development, and delivery of compelling internal communication content to employees
-
Work closely with business leaders to ensure latest news, announcements, developments, and programs/events are communicated in a consistent and
timely
manner
-
Assist
in development and production of internal events including bi-monthly Town Hall meetings, leadership meetings and training and development programs
-
Update and
maintain
a consistent internal communications content calendar
-
Research innovative strategies in delivering internal
communications
-
Assist
with recruitment for all positions
including
:
pre-screening resumes,
job postings, scheduling interviews,
obtaining interview
feedback,
coordinating travel as needed, conducting background checks, writing offer letters,
etc
.

Participate in new hire orientations
-
Communicate
and document all employee status changes (new hires, transfers, terminations, etc.)
-
Maintain
electronic records and
data integrity in HRIS to support
co
mpliance reporting
-
Create and
maintain
reports in the HRIS
-
Create
correspondence related to employment
,
benefits
and
/or vendor credentialing
verification
s
-
Support the performance management process
-
Manage the departure process by s
cheduling exit interviews, providing benefits info,
system maintenance
, etc
.

Assist
with implementation of HR policies and guidelines

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources

Previous
experience
working in a professional business environment (minimum 2 years)

HRIS systems,
Ultimate Software (UltiPro)/Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG Pro) preferred
-
Ability to work in a rapid and complex changing working environment is
a must
-
Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
-
Proficiency
in MS Office Suite
-
Resourcefulness and initiative
are
very important
attributes for this role, must be a self starter
-
Experience with Adobe Create Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.
Would be a significant asset
-
Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) or website maintenance, including SharePoint
would be a significant asset
