Role OverviewAs a Line Cook at SARA, you are responsible for executing dishes with accuracy, consistency and attention to detail. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team to ensure smooth service and maintain the high standards expected of the restaurant.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards

Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes

Set up and manage your station efficiently during prep and service

Ensure all food is handled, stored and prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards

Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation

Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to support smooth service

Assist with prep work, including ingredient preparation and portioning

Support inventory management and notify leadership of low stock or product issues
-
Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment
Qualifications

Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred

Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced service environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable, punctual and team-oriented

Willingness to learn and grow within the role
