Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Merivale Office
Job Type: Full-time Hourly
Compensation: $20-$25/hourly
Position Overview:
As the HR Administrator, you’ll play a key supporting role within the HR department. You’ll assist with daily administrative tasks, employee onboarding, recruitment coordination, and overall HR operations. In addition to HR responsibilities, you will also support customer service functions by answering incoming calls and assisting customers with inquiries. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interview scheduling, and reference checks
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with general inquiries or direct them to the appropriate contact
- Update internal HR platforms and systems
- Ensure all HR processes comply with internal policies and employment regulations
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Recent graduates from HR programs are strongly encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.
- Discreet and professional with the ability to manage confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with both employees and customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Previous administrative, HR, or customer service experience is considered an asset
