As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will report directly to the Commercial Operations Manager.

GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION

One of the strategic orientations that Nexans pursues consists in capturing growth and differentiating its offer by escalading the value chain from the production of cables towards the provision of innovative cable systems and services and solutions to better address the current and future needs of our partners and customers.

The Inside Sales Account Manager mission is to manage the full sales cycle and order processing of accounts, while providing a high standard of customer service.

How You Make An Impact

Customer Contact

Maintain critical business relationships with customers and to create new business opportunities for those customers Respond to the needs of the customer and ensure that these needs are properly communicated and followed up in a timely fashion Analyze business performance and deliver recommendations to drive sales growth by using key knowledge of market and customer needs Resolve most issues between the business and its customers and ensure that management is made aware of those issues that may escalate in severity Channel normal product returns through the customer complaint reporting process Convey competitive information, market information and specific details of customer product demands to appropriate levels of staff and management

Customer Quotations

Prepare customer quotations based on established pricing guidelines, ensuring customer requirements are addressed in a timely fashion Follow-up on customer quotations and obtain feedback relative to pricing and timing of potential purchases Highlight quotation opportunities to management and outside sales team

Order Entry and Follow-Up

Enter orders as received, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantity and other customer requirements Proactively advise customers of late, or potentially late, orders Expedite and follow-up on customer orders to keep the customer informed of order status and shipment information, as required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?

Applied post-secondary education 2-3 years experience in an inside sales function, preferably in the electrical industry Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proven business and operational experience and skills Relationship building capabilities to source and develop opportunities, and close sales Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills Client focused, responsive, service-oriented, persuasive and flexible
