We’re hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Optiks International - Victoria - Uptown location - partners of solis optics, as an Optical Associate!

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Sunday.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
- Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
- Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
- Educate customers on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality
- Guide customers in selecting eyewear that combines style with optimal vision
- Support frame and facial measurements alongside an Optician, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear
- Assist with contact lens orders
- Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
- Support store operations by performing additional duties as required
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a retail environment
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset
- Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively

FYihealth group aims to create a comprehensive rewards package to attract and retain top talent. The expected starting compensation for this position is between $19.19 to $22.51 hourly, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
