A growing Vaughan-based food manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and spirited Sales Manager with a strong background in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, an established network with food industry head offices, and a proven track record in managing broker relationships. This individual will play a key role in managing and growing our sales efforts, working collaboratively with various departments, and ensuring continued success in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute regional sales strategies to exceed targets.
- Manage and support brokers to ensure strong market representation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop data-driven market plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Management teams.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Use SAP and analytics to track performance and forecast trends.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of sales experience in the food service.
- Experience in retail sales (CPG) is an asset.
- Proven success in regional or national sales leadership.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in SAP or similar systems.
- A growth mindset and passion for achieving results.
- Ability to travel within Canada as required.
