As a Software Engineer Intern on the Consumption Platform organization, you’ll have the opportunity to drive projects, solve unique challenges, while diving deep into our processes and tools supporting development of robust and highly performant large-scale distributed systems.
You’ll get placed into one of our multiple teams that directly impact on the top-line revenue for our company.
Responsibilities
- Managing your project end-to-end, including designing, developing, testing, releasing, and monitoring software solutions
- Partnering with various cross-functional teams to solve critical problems across the organization, while working in a scrum team environment
- Have technical ownership of your code, and ensure code quality by testing (unit, integration and load tests)
- Get exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform services.
- Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date of 2027 or later
- Strong Computer Science (CS) fundamentals, with a proficiency in either Java, Python, and Shell script to develop components and services
- Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior software engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other related projects
- Prior experience in Kafka and Agentic AI programming is a plus
- Knowledge of Event-driven Architecture
About The Canada Intern Program The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (May 4th – August 21st, 2026). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
