AS A REGISTERED NURSE , you’ll be responsible for providing total nursing care for infusion, pre-op, and post-op patients as identified in the nursing standards of care. You will provide patient and family education, collaborate with other health team personnel, and maintain professional nursing practices in an infusion/surgical setting. The RN will provide customers with quality health care and must be able to work independently in a fast-pace, high acuity environment. The RN will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, while effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other team members. This position requires early starts, late stay, and on-call hours throughout the scheduled work week.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit required
- Previous critical care and med/surg experience required
- Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications preferred upon hire or must be obtained within 1 year of start date
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree preferred
- Critical Care Registered Nurse certification preferred
- Previous Peri-Anesthesia Care experience preferred
