About the role
About Blair Blair is a Toronto-based health tech company building software that helps private cardiology clinics and other healthcare organizations manage their patient relationships at the volume and complexity modern practices demand. Within our first year, our platform supports healthcare organizations reaching over 500,000 patients across Canada.
We raised a $3M seed round backed by Mars IAF, Ampify Capital and Mistral Ventures. Our founders have deep experience in enterprise healthcare and startups and are building this company with the people who join early.
The team is small. Everyone does real work, takes initiative, and owns their outcomes. New people work directly with the founders and have a genuine shot at growing with the company as we scale. If you want to be close to the build, this is the right place.
The Role Our Operations team is the backbone of Blair's healthcare platform, ensuring seamless data flow between our technology and the healthcare organizations we partner with.
As a Clinical Operations Coordinator, you'll be on the frontline of that work. You'll be processing real workflows and contributing to quality and delivery from day one. This is a role for someone who takes pride in doing things right, picks things up quickly, and wants to make a real difference in healthcare.
What You Will Do Process Operational Workflows: Accurately handle day-to-day tasks across our accounts, keeping up with volume while maintaining a high bar for quality. Support Shift Execution: Help monitor progress against SLAs, answer questions from peers, and flag blockers to the team lead when needed. Program Development & Quality Improvement: Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of our core products to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes. Maintain Accuracy and Consistency: Take ownership of the quality of your own work, flag issues when you see them, and contribute to process documentation. Collaborate Across Teams: Work across teams to surface workflow issues, resolve exceptions, and support smooth client implementations. Handle Exceptions: Manage outlier cases independently and escalate to the right person when a situation is outside your scope.
What We Are Looking For We care more about how you work than whether your resume is a perfect match.
You likely have: 2+ years in operations, administrative workflows, medical documentation, or consulting in a structured, high-volume environment Experience supporting or leading shift-based teams, QA efforts, or workflow escalations A passion for automation, intelligent systems, and operational excellence
It is a plus if you have: Startup experience Familiarity with EMRs, compliance frameworks, and healthcare workflows A background in medical billing or prior authorization A background in business operations or consulting
Most importantly: you have a growth mindset. You do not wait to be told what to do, you are comfortable figuring things out in a fast-moving environment, and you see an early-stage company as an opportunity.
Why Blair You will work directly with the founders from day one. The team is small enough that your work is visible, your ideas get heard, and what you do actually moves things forward. We are growing fast and the people joining now are the ones who will have the opportunity to lead and build this function out as we scale.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: CAD $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience Benefits: Extended health and dental coverage Time Off: Flexible PTO; we work hard and take rest seriously Location: Hybrid, Downtown Toronto
Note: The salary range above reflects base compensation only. Equity, benefits, and other forms of compensation are provided separately and are not included in the figures above.
