What we offer
The Senior Manager, IT Systems & Data Integration will own and optimize the data and systems ecosystem powering our manufacturing and business operations. In this senior individual contributor role, you will architect and drive the flow of information between internal systems (ERP, MES) and external customer platforms, with a focus on system interoperability, data accuracy, and business intelligence enablement. This role is critical to SAMI’s ability to deliver accurate, timely, and scalable production by ensuring the right data gets to the right systems, at the right time.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement robust data integration workflows between customerfacing systems and factory systems (ERP, MES, CRM, etc.).
- Be the go-to resource for everything that is ERP, Business Intelligence, and Data
Management
- Own the strategy and execution of manufacturing systems integration - ensuring
seamless data exchange between planning, production, inventory, and quality
systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs, ETL pipelines, and data architecture standards to
support real-time and batch data movement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and commercial teams to map data
flows and ensure system alignment across the production lifecycle.
- Partner with IT leadership and external vendors on ERP enhancements,
upgrades, and harmonization efforts.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and supportable integration approaches using best
practices in authentication, data validation, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to the digital manufacturing roadmap with a focus on interoperability,
automation, and data visibility.
- Support the rollout of reporting dashboards and data products by ensuring
reliable backend data architecture and integration.
- Define and monitor KPIs for integration health, latency, error handling, and
throughput.
- Lead or support change management for new data flows, working closely with
business stakeholders to ensure adoption and value realization

What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or
a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, systems integration, or manufacturing systems with
a strong IC track record.
- Deep understanding of data pipelines, system interoperability, and middleware
tools.
- Experience integrating ERP systems with manufacturing systems such as MES,
and/or IoT platforms.
- Hands-on experience with API management, data transformation, and system
mapping (e.g. REST, GraphQL, ETL tools).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft platforms (e.g. Azure, Power BI, SQL Server)
and industrial data environments.
- Ability to work independently across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
with minimal oversight.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate operational needs into
data/system requirements.
Bonus Points
- Experience with ERP selection or unification projects (e.g., Odoo, NetSuite, JDE,
or similar).
- Experience integrating with customer supply chain, ordering, or design systems.
- Familiarity with greenfield or high-automation manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.
