JOB TITLE: Casual Clerical 2025-2026 School Year
LOCATION: Brantford, ON

Grand Erie’s 3,000 employees provide quality education to approximately 29,000 full-time equivalent students who attend our 73 schools. The Board spans a geographic area encompassing the City of Brantford and the Counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. The head office is located in Brantford.
Casual clerical staff are offered work on an ‘as needed’ basis, and often with short notice, to replace regular clerical/secretarial employees when they are absent from work. It is our expectation that casual clerical employees will have regular availability to accept assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- post-secondary education in a related program (ie office administration) is preferred
- demonstrated ability to comprehend oral and written communications in English
- proficiency with keyboarding; speed and accuracy are essential
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software
- basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge is an asset
- must be able to work effectively in a team situation and with minimal supervision
- must demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to the provision of excellent service prior office/clerical experience is required

Rate of Pay
$27.29 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
