Date closed: July 23, 2026 Job Type: Permanent Affiliation: CUPE Location: George Mackie Library Weekly Hours: 8 Schedule: Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm; Tuesday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Job Start Date: August 2, 2026 Pay Grade: Page Wage: $22.93 hourly THE POSITION: As a Page you will perform a variety of duties related to the physical organization and maintenance of library materials such as shelving materials in alphabetical and numerical order, emptying book drops, cleaning and minor repairs of library materials. In addition to excellent pay we offer a fun and supportive work setting where creativity and innovation are the norm. FVRL features enhanced computer technology, a variety of positions, exciting projects and barrier free access.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a high school program or a program at a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum requirement of successful completion of Grade 10. As a part of the application process, we require documentation from the school or institution on their letterhead that includes student name, the dates enrolled and the name of the program. Applicants must be able to work the hours as posted.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Our libraries offer staff a stimulating and collaborative work environment. Pages are invited to join a team who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to the community. Preference will be given to students living and/or attending school in the area.
