The Commercial P&C Pricing team is dedicated to supporting the pricing and profitability of Aviva’s Commercial P&C insurance portfolio. Through rigorous actuarial analyses and data-driven insights across Property and Casualty products, we empower the business leaders to make informed decisions that drive financial performance and sustainable growth.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver semi-annual P&C rate indications across regions and segments, generate actionable insights and develop pricing proposals that ensure rate adequacy and alignment with strategic business objectives. Present findings to business leaders to support decision-making and guide pricing strategy
- Monitor performance by region and segment, identify emerging trends and recommend actions to support profitability and growth targets
- Deliver loss ratio projections to support the annual business planning process
- Lead or contribute to pricing reviews for various coverages and segments
- Maintain and enhance SAS procedures. Identify and resolve data issues
- Support technical development of pricing tools
- Coach and mentor junior analysts and co-op students
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 2-3 years of P&C actuarial experience
- Completion of 3 or more SOA/CAS exams
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Effectively communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficient in programming; experience in SAS, and VBA considered a plus
