About the role
Chooza Foods is hiring a Part-Time Sales Representative to help bring our bold, globally inspired sauces to more shelves and customers across the GTA. Our sauces blend East African and Indian flavors, and we’re looking for someone who’s just as passionate about food as they are about sales.
You’ll be working directly with store owners, attending local events, and representing the Chooza brand on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail stores and specialty food shops across the GTA to pitch and sell Chooza sauces
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and managers
- Present product samples and promotional materials clearly and confidently
- Identify and follow up on new sales leads and retail opportunities
- Provide regular updates on sales outreach, market feedback, and performance metrics
- Represent Chooza Foods at farmers’ markets, festivals, and food events
- Set up and manage the event booth, engage with customers, and explain product details
- Handle inventory management and operate POS systems during events
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (mandatory)
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or product promotion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who’s highly motivated and comfortable working independently
- Interest in food, culinary products, or culturally diverse flavors
- High school diploma or equivalent
