Summary

Reporting to the Project Manager, Team Lead, this role works closely with the Project Management Team, and Construction Supervisors and Operations team for the successful delivery of Iconic Projects.

The Project Coordinator role is responsible for the day-to-day administration for project-based submissions, including but not limited to project schedules, change management log/documentations, RFI submissions and tracking, document control, quantity accruals, invoice, cash flow, and forecast updates, client reports preparation, logistics management and the preparation and updating of project scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Business or Engineering Degree/Diploma. Related experience can be taken into consideration.
  • 5+ years in a project-based role.
  • Design Build Experience is considered an asset.

Skills

  • General knowledge high voltage construction, civil earthworks and financial acumen required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures in a safety focused workplace.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills. There are multiple client reporting formats in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient communication and the ability to work with multiple partners on the project.
  • Knowledge of Construction Project lifecycle.
  • Ability to read and understand engineered drawings.
  • Capacity to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Superior ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.

Duties

  • Assist in the development of a project schedule with Microsoft Project.
  • Maintain tidy and accurate project documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Controller and Project Managers to ensure internal and external deliverables are met.
  • Interact with the client in a manner which fosters strong client satisfaction ratings.
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of company resources and the workflow throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure equipment and Materials for the project are procured through close collaboration with the Project Manager and Procurement
  • Ensure Project Managers have adequate support to produce accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure Construction Supervisors and Operations have proper permits, equipment, and material on site for execution.
