Are you a skilled Fuel & Service Technician looking for a great opportunity with a company that values hard work, learning, and teamwork? KLS Earthworks & Environmental is looking for an experienced professional to join our team and keep our fleet running efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Preventative Maintenance & Servicing – Lubricate, fuel, and maintain various heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, skid steers, and packers.
✔ Diagnostics & Repairs – Work closely with the Maintenance Department to identify and report necessary repairs.
✔ Safety & Efficiency – Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
✔ Record Keeping – Maintain logs and documentation for all work performed.
✔ Work Environment – Operate in shop and outdoor environments, often in varying weather conditions.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Fuel & Lube Technician in heavy equipment maintenance.
✅ Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and work in various weather conditions.
✅ Licensing & Certifications:
- Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement (Mandatory)
- CSTS/PST, TDG, Standard First Aid (Required)
✅ Work Availability: - Willing to handle noise, vibrations, and outdoor conditions.
✅ Driving & Safety Requirements: - Clean driving record (Provide a Commercial Driver’s Abstract with your resume).
- Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and fit testing (Zero tolerance policy).
