Compensation Details

  • Marketing Generalist 15: Salaries range from $63,894 to $85,194 annually, based on qualifications and experiences.

Location

  • Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change).
  • This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa.

Team Overview

The Marketing Strategy and Effectiveness (MSE) team, part of the Chief Operations Officer Group (COO), is seeking a Sr. Associate, Marketing Operations to support initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing department.

What You Will Be Doing

As a member of the MSE team, you will support and implement new ways to eliminate inefficiency, simplify processes, leverage technology, and support business objectives. This is an entry-level position.

Reports to: Manager, Marketing Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Support integrated marketing strategy and planning
  • Assist in developing annual and quarterly marketing goals
  • Support Big Room Planning and Quarterly Review cycles
  • Implement and measure operating system efficiency
  • Maintain reporting in Azure DevOPS (ADO)
  • Enable Marketing teams through technology
  • Contribute to education and competency development initiatives
  • Maintain marketing-wide calendar
  • Support onboarding and training
  • Assist with file management, taxonomy, and calendar management

What We Are Looking For

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Ability to thrive in an agile matrix organization
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts
  • Basic knowledge of Agile principles

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Experience with sales or channel departments
  • Familiarity with the exporter journey
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Experience with GenAI tools
