Job Title: Agile Scrum Lead Location: Hybrid – Regina, Saskatchewan Contract Duration: August 2026 to April 2028 Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Onsite-Offsite Flexible Pay rate: $65-$75/Hour
Job Description We are looking for an Agile Scrum Lead to support multiple Data & Analytics product teams by facilitating Agile delivery practices and ensuring effective execution of Scrum ceremonies. This role will focus on supporting team cadence, sprint readiness, backlog management, delivery tracking, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Lead will work closely with Product Owners, analytics developers, and business stakeholders to help teams deliver work efficiently and predictably.
Key Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Maintain well-defined, prioritized, and sprint-ready backlogs in Azure DevOps. Work with Product Owners to ensure sprint commitments are clear, measurable, and achievable. Track and communicate sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments. Support coordination across multiple product teams and shared resources. Drive continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives and follow-up. Promote Agile best practices, team accountability, and delivery discipline. Provide visibility into team capacity, velocity, and delivery predictability.
Mandatory Requirements Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead in a delivery environment. Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies. Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps, including Boards, backlogs, and sprint tracking. Experience managing Agile backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners. Ability to support multiple concurrent teams and manage competing priorities. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification. Advanced Agile certification such as PSM II, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Scrum Master. Agile coaching, facilitation, or Lean training/certification. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or data/analytics-related certifications. Experience supporting Data & Analytics, BI, or data platform teams. Familiarity with Azure-based analytics platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, or Power BI. Experience working with multiple product teams and shared resources. Experience scaling Agile practices across teams or portfolios. Understanding of data delivery challenges such as data dependencies, pipeline orchestration, and data quality.
Additional Details The ideal candidate will be a strong facilitator who can help teams stay organized, remove blockers, support delivery alignment, and improve Agile maturity across multiple product teams.
