About Minga

At Minga, we’re creating the Student Behavior Platform schools can’t imagine running without. We’re on a mission to make school life run smoother and have fun while we’re at it.

We’re a tight-knit team of curious, creative, and low-ego humans who genuinely enjoy working together. We care deeply about the work we do and the people we do it with, and that shows up in how we lead, collaborate, and celebrate.

Our culture is built on trust, ownership, and continuous learning. Whether you’re working from our Kelowna HQ or remotely, you’ll have the autonomy to do your best work, the support to grow, and the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of educators and students.

The Role

We’re not just hiring for a position, we’re adding a teammate. Someone who wants to help build what’s next, take real ownership, and grow with us along the way.

As a Senior SDR at Minga, you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by owning the top of the funnel and setting the foundation for a strong, high-quality pipeline.

Reporting to the SDR Manager, Katie, you’ll lead by example in how we prospect, engage, and qualify potential customers, while bringing a thoughtful, strategic approach to outbound and inbound outreach.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with outsized impact. You’ll influence how we refine our sales motion, collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing, and help shape best practices as the team scales. Your work will directly impact revenue growth and the overall success of Minga.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively engage prospects and create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities

  • Utilize various tools and strategies to identify and research potential prospects

  • Engage in outbound prospecting through emails, phone calls, and social selling to initiate conversations and build interest in Minga

  • Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence with contacts, multi-threading and nurturing relationships

  • Use your strong prospecting and selling skills to set up qualified meetings for our AE Team

  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline in a sustainable way

  • Engage with our website visitors and inbound leads

  • Think of new creative ways to improve the prospecting process to increase results and provide ongoing feedback to Sales Management

What We Require

  • 1+ years of sales experience in a SaaS environment

  • Bonus points for experience in tech or education tech

  • Bonus points for experience using HubSpot and Gong

  • Growth mindset and a positive attitude

  • Keen interest in learning and building a career in sales

  • Goal-oriented, high-energy contributor with a sense of urgency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail

Who You Are

  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach

  • Openness to coaching and training from scratch

  • Willingness to go the extra mile to deliver results

  • Curiosity about software products and comfort working with them

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
