Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of MUSC 3177.03: Vocal Literature, from January 1 – April 30, 2026 (Winter Term). The successful candidate will work in consultation and coordination with the Voice faculty. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment and submit grades as per department guidelines. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

MMus in Voice or similar professional experience; university teaching experience; knowledge of classical art song literature (early 1600 to living composers); understanding of the historical and personal context from which the composers created their works; ability to connect historic context, style, and performance practices to current classical repertoires, practices, and popular musics.
