Working with Richardson International opens the door to a world of opportunity. We currently have a Crop Inputs Representative position open at our Richardson Building located in Winnipeg. This role is responsible for managing inventory and purchasing, coordinating logistics, monitoring market pricing, ensuring compliance, and supporting supplier programs and reporting. We’re looking for motivated individuals with strong communication skills, knowledge of crop inputs, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase orders and coordinate product logistics with internal teams and suppliers
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and adequate product supply
  • Understand and manage supplier programs, marketing letters, and associated rebates
  • Assist in developing cost sheets and pricing strategies
  • Manage inventory levels in collaboration with Product Line Leads and Zone CI Reps
  • Review forecasts, position reports, and allocate products as needed
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (Seeds Canada, AWASA, Crop Life)
  • Participate in budgeting processes and ensure accurate weekly/monthly reporting

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Agriculture or Business; equivalent industry experience considered
  • 3–5 years of experience in the ag industry, preferably in product management or distribution
  • Strong knowledge of crop inputs, pricing, and inventory management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data analysis
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
