What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

As our Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning and driving project success by:

  • Developing detailed master schedules and work sequences to ensure competitiveness and feasibility.
  • Break down project scopes into activities, durations, logic ties, and resource requirements.
  • Updating and maintaining project schedules, including resource and cost loading when required.
  • Working closely with Project Managers to align baseline schedules with budgets and support productivity analysis.
  • Analyzing performance against the critical path and recommending corrective actions to prevent delays.
  • Providing timely schedule insights, including trends, forecasts, and progress updates.
  • Supporting planning efforts and contributing to overall project controls.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Requirements)

We’re looking for a candidate with a strong mix of education, technical expertise, and real-world construction scheduling experience:

  • Degree or diploma in a construction-related field and minimum five years of scheduling experience (or equivalent technical background).
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Knowledge of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) development.

  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate schedule impacts and implications.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction sequences, cost/schedule integration, and earned value management.
  • Experience integrating schedules with cost or progress measurement systems is an asset.
  • Experience in Project Controls or Cost Control preferred.
