About the role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Outdoors. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Perform safety and security checks. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Perform routine maintenance. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Evening. On call. Weekend. Other benefits: Other benefits.
