Survalent is seeking innovative and enthusiastic Full Stack Web Developer to join our Web Application Development team. This team is responsible for building secure, high-performance, and scalable web applications that help electric utilities monitor, control, and manage power flow ensuring safe and efficient delivery of electricity. You’ll be part of a growing development team and responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to design to deployment.
We’re looking for someone who’s confident working across both front-end and back-end technologies, familiar with modern frameworks, and passionate about creating intuitive, data-driven web solutions. A collaborative mindset, eye for design, and interest in mentoring others are all highly valued. What will you be doing?

Work with development teams, customers, and other subject matter experts to ideate software solutions, and improve software functionality.

Design client-side and server-side architecture.
-
Ensure front-end code is mobile-friendly (i.e. responsive) and intuitive for users.
-
Develop and manage well-functioning databases.
-
Write effective RESTful APIs.
-
Test software to ensure responsiveness, scalability, and efficiency.
-
Create security and data protection settings.
-
Write technical documentation where necessary.
-

What are we looking for?
-
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
-
5 years of experience in computer programming.
-
Experience in Frontend Development: Skilled with React, including both user interface design and business logic implementation.
-
Experience in Backend Development: Proficient with ASP.NET Core Web API, incorporating real-time communication using SignalR/WebSockets and secure authentication through Identity.
-
Experience in Database Development: Competent with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL for robust data storage and querying.
-
Experience in Data Processing: Capable of building complex, high-performance data processing plugins to support backend server operations.
-
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design concepts.
-
Strong knowledge of design patterns.
-
Working knowledge of Git.
-
Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing.
-
Excellent analytical and problem resolution methods.
-
Knowledge on back-end development, including RESTful interfaces and microservices.
-
Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence, or similar infrastructure tools.
-
Proficiency or working knowledge of Ractive.js and legacy .NET frameworks is a strong asset.

Experience with containerized application development, particularly using Docker, is a strong asset.
