About the role

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B solution sales, with a proven track record of managing full-cycle sales motions and exceeding quotas with Enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing complex enterprise technology deals in the range of seven-figures and higher
  • A background in selling technical products, such as developer tools, cloud solutions, API products, or AI/NLP solutions is preferred
  • Skill in working with channel partners to drive sales cycles and achieve shared revenue targets
  • The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, with a proactive and strategic mindset
  • A curious mind, eager to dive deep into NLP and become an expert in our cutting-edge technology
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, speak to diverse audiences, and influence decision-makers
  • Experience working with global clients who have international footprints
  • Expertise or knowledge in industries such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrials, Transportation, etc

What the job involves

  • We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our team and take on a crucial role in driving Cohere's growth
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the full sales cycle, from lead identification to deal closure, for a range of enterprise-level clients
  • Cohere is defining how enterprises should adopt GenAI at scale, and this role is expected to have a major impact on the market
  • As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be the face of Cohere to your clients, building strong relationships and tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs
  • You'll collaborate closely with channel partners to expand our outreach and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Working in partnership with our Solutions Architect, Product and Engineering teams, you'll play a strategic role in delivering solutions to our enterprise customers, and you'll team up with our Sales Development team to drive activity and results
  • This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact on our company's success
  • Focus on net-new logo acquisition, with the ability to expand adoption within existing customer accounts by identifying and targeting key stakeholders and building strong relationships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, deeply understanding their challenges and goals, and tailor Cohere's solutions to drive measurable business impact
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to scale your outreach and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Work hand-in-hand with our Solutions Architect, Product and Engineering teams to deliver strategic solutions that meet the unique needs of our enterprise customers
  • Team up with our Sales Development team to drive top-of-funnel activity and qualify incoming leads
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to proof-of-concept and ultimately, deal closure
