Objective of Position
Sales & Customer Development
- Always ensure professional representation of Durabuilt, upholding ethical and cultural standards.
- Generate, qualify, and follow up on sales leads through outbound and inbound calls, email communication, and prospect lists.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with contractors, architects, and trade partners.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding product offerings, pricing, and order changes.
- Conduct product demonstrations and present pricing, credit terms, and value propositions.
- Complete full sales cycle, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Design and execute a sales plan to achieve projected sales goals and profitability targets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of industry trends, company products, and competitors.
- Serve as the Design Gallery Attendant and main point of contact for B2B customers
- Manage time and activities effectively to maximize customer engagement.
- Provide proactive after-sales follow-up to maintain customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Sales Support & Administration
- Interpret blueprints, spec sheets, addendums, and other documents for accurate quoting, revisions, and order creation using ERP systems.
- Identify and report discrepancies in specifications, quotes, and purchase orders.
- Estimate delivery dates based on production and shipping schedules.
- Prepare quotations/orders, ensuring all necessary documentation, approvals, and customer information are entered in Salesforce/CX systems.
- Comply with company policies regarding pricing, credit, and collections to ensure profitability.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and share customer insights to support team goals.
- Support the overall Sales Team in achieving monthly quotas.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing, discounting, and credit policies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales follow-ups to maintain strong satisfaction scores.
- Provide administrative support including receptionist duties, bank deposits, and case management.
Education
- Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or related field.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience / Capabilities
- 3+ years’ sales experience.
- Demonstrated experience with dealing with clientele from different demographics.
- Experience working in Construction or Building material Industries.
- Knowledge of basic sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.
- Knowledge of Durabuilt products, competitors’ products, and company standards.
- Knowledge of Durabuilt product pricing, discount and estimating formulas and guidelines.
- Able to use electronic software (PQM, MS Office etc.) to quote, sell and order products and assist in providing prompt and on-time delivery.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program.
- You thrive in a quick sales cycle.
- You are confident, outgoing and self-driven.
- You rapidly build trust with your customers and provide solutions to meet their needs.
- You focus on new and existing customers to drive business and increase revenue.
- Strong work ethic, action oriented, plan and pace own work efficiently to meet goals.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing.
Working Conditions
- Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0llbs to 50llbs.
- Operate primarily in an office environment.
- Use standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
- Occasional travel to meet clients, sell products and attend meetings.
- Pressure to produce tangible results and complete projects within tight timelines.
