We are working with a leading global company in the digital services space, currently seeking a Tax Analyst or Senior Tax Analyst to support its Canadian operations. This is a fully remote role open to candidates located across Canada.
Missions
- Manage and support Canadian indirect tax (GST/HST, QST) and direct tax compliance and reporting
- Monitor evolving Canadian tax legislation and assess business impacts
- Provide practical and business-oriented tax guidance on operational initiatives
- Partner closely with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Product) on tax-related matters
- Support internal audits and external tax authority reviews
- Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts within the tax function
Profil du candidat
- Minimum 4 years of experience in tax advisory or in-house tax, ideally within a tech or platform-based environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Canadian tax issues, particularly indirect tax
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate tax matters clearly across teams
- CPA designation or equivalent is considered an asset
